Meetings
We believe in Spirit-filled worship. Our Sunday morning worship times include spontaneous moments and opportunity for the expression of gifts of the Spirit.
Sunday Mornings we meet at 10:30am
We don’t have a standard order of service. There will be songs, there will be prayer but there can also be Scripture quotes or testimonies or words and pictures that God has put on people’s hearts.
A member of the ministry team will lead the meeting and the worship team will help to lead and start songs but everyone is able to participate.
While the children are in their groups the sermon will be preached. We believe in Bible centred preaching because God’s word has the power to change lives. Each week we will preach from a Bible passage for 30-40 minutes and often we will have a series of preaching which goes through a book of the Bible. You can listen again to our sermons each week on our sermons page at www.cliftoncommunitychurch.co.uk/sermons
After the meeting we normally serve refreshments so please stay around and get to know us.
Children and youth on Sunday
During the service children join with us for worship then go to their own activities after spending a short time with the adults. We have groups for all ages.
For Children in Year 7 and above there is a youth group with a variety of activities.
Children who are at primary school have CCC Kidz where they enjoy games, crafts, stories and videos.
A crèche is available for children who are under the age of 4. Parents/carers of little ones may choose to stay with their child and listen to the service through the speakers.
In line with our safeguarding policy, all visiting children and young people must have consent forms completed by their parents or carers. Forms available from the office.
